Modern Slavery Statement

Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking Statement for 7POINT Facilities Management

Financial Year: 2025–2026

1. Our Commitment

7Point Cleaning & Facilities Management (“7Point”) is committed to the highest standards of ethics and integrity. We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking in our business and our supply chains. We are committed to acting professionally and fairly in all our business dealings and to implementing systems that ensure slavery is not taking place anywhere in our operation.

2. Our Business & Supply Chain

7Point provides essential facilities services to the education and commercial sectors across the United Kingdom. Our core services include:

  • Contract Cleaning: Daily and periodic cleaning services.

  • Facilities Management: Caretaking and site maintenance.

  • Staffing & Recruitment: Temporary and permanent placement of site personnel.

Our supply chain consists of the procurement of cleaning chemicals (COSHH-regulated), PPE, cleaning and maintenance equipment, and—most importantly—the engagement of a dedicated workforce.

3. Identifying High-Risk Areas

We recognise that the cleaning and recruitment industries are sectors where labour exploitation can occur. To mitigate these risks, 7Point focuses on:

  • Direct Recruitment: We prioritise direct hiring rather than using third-party "labour-only" subcontractors.

  • Vetting Standards: All personnel undergo a rigorous onboarding process including Enhanced DBS checks and "Right to Work" verification.

  • Financial Transparency: We do not pay in cash. All staff are paid directly into their own verified UK bank accounts, ensuring they maintain full financial independence.

4. Our Policies

We operate a range of internal policies to ensure we are conducting business in an ethical and transparent manner:

  • Anti-Slavery Policy: Outlining our stance on forced labour and human trafficking.

  • Whistleblowing Policy: Ensuring that all employees know they can raise concerns about how colleagues are being treated, or practices within our business or supply chain, without fear of reprisals.

  • National Living Wage: We are committed to ensuring that all employees are paid at least the National Living Wage, protecting them from economic exploitation.

5. Due Diligence & Auditing

As part of our initiative to identify and mitigate risk, we:

  • Perform regular payroll audits to ensure no duplicate bank accounts are being used (a key indicator of labor exploitation).

  • Conduct regular "Site Welfare Checks" to speak with our cleaners and caretakers directly about their working conditions.

  • Verify that all cleaning supplies are sourced from reputable UK-based distributors who have their own Modern Slavery statements.

6. Training

To ensure a high level of risk awareness, our management team is trained to spot the "signs" of modern slavery during the recruitment process and during routine site visits.
